The dalai Lama walked up to a hotdog vendor to order a hotdog.
At other times I've been told that I "should" walk more. I do walk quite a bit, but that's mostly as a mode of transportation in my getting around the city. But I've been enjoying my new walking routine, as the impetus has come from within.

Today we took one of my two dogs with us on this walk. I have two dogs, brothers from the same litter, who were rescued from Bangkok 8 months apart. The one who came first, Bilbo, is much more well adjusted than his brother, Odin, who lost an eye at the dump they lived in. Odin doesn't like going for long walks, but Bilbo doesn't mind. He was pretty tired when we got back and has been flaked out on the carpet ever since we got back. Bilbo seemed to enjoy the change, even though it didn't come from within.
I seem to have an itch these days for change. The sofa, new shoes, walking. Change these days is exciting, energizing, enlivening. Maybe in more of my blogging I'll share more of my musings on new ideas and change. 362 more days for that.
